THE ORIGINAL. This six-inch figure will take us through the basic steps of casting a bronze. I modeled it directly in microcrystalline wax (which is the most commonly used at foundries).. We'll be using the Lost Wax Method of casting in bronze: essentially the same process that has been used to cast bronze for approximately 6000 years, though technology has streamlined it.
